Cancellations and Terms of Service

All sales are final and there are no refunds. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded and cannot be rescheduled. Liberty Fleet reserves the right to cancel any sail for inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In the rare situation where the company is forced to cancel the event, you may reschedule to another comparable sail or receive a company credit which expires at the end of the season, but no refund will be issued without the addition of Weather Coverage*. Liberty Fleet offers optional weather coverage for select sails which grants a full refund in the case of a weather cancellation. Liberty Fleet may cancel any sail for a private charter in which case a full refund will be issued. Liberty Fleet reserves the right to substitute vessels for any departure. For groups of 8 or more a 10% minimum gratuity will be added to your booking and you hereby authorize us to charge the gratuity to your credit card as an additional charge.

*Weather Coverage- Optional Weather Insurance*

Liberty Fleet allows for the purchase of Weather Coverage, which allows the guest a full refund, minus the coverage amount, in the event Liberty Fleet cancels due to inclement weather. Adding weather coverage to your booking does not entitle the guest to cancel their own booking and only guarantees a refund in the case of Liberty Fleet cancelling due to weather. Refund does not include coverage amount.  Weather Coverage may only be added at the time of booking and must be paid in full at the time of sailing. If coverage is not added to the reservation, no refund will be given and the cruise will be to reschedule as stated in the Terms of Service.

Weather Insurance Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I add this weather coverage to my booking?
  • Adding weather coverage to your booking is best if you are traveling from out of town, or can only make the time and date of your sail work, or otherwise would not be able to reschedule your cruise in the event we need to cancel due to inclement weather.
How much can I get refunded?
  • In the event we cancel due to inclement weather, with the weather coverage added to your booking you will receive the full cost of your booking back, minus the amount paid for weather coverage.
How much will this coverage add to my booking?
  • Standard coverage amount is 15% of the cost of the booking but is subject to change based on the event and time of the season. This amount is not refunded.
What if I do not add this coverage to my booking?
  • If the guest does not add this coverage, as it states in our Terms of Service, no refund will be given in the event that Liberty Fleet cancels a sail. Guest’s sole remedy is then to reschedule or take a credit for a future sail in the same sailing season.
