What's Included in your Windjammer Cruise?

 

Our Windjammer Cruises and Offshore adventures are structured so that it’s possible to pay for the entirety of your trip before you leave so you don’t have to worry about guessing how much to budget for each day of our vacation. For guests opting to pay as they go for beverages we accept cash and credit card on board.

Per-person Price Inclusions

The base price of our cruises (before upgrades) includes the following unless otherwise specified:

  • 1 bunk space in a standard double-occupancy cabin
  • All meals for the duration of your trip
    • Excluding Sunday night dinner for Windjammer Cruises
  • Coffee, tea, and juice (unlimited)
    • Note: bottled water, soda, and alcoholic beverages are not included and may be purchased separately on board, or consider one of our Drink Passes (see below)
  • All linens – sheets, blankets, bath towels, beach towels, pillows
  • Use of all on-board water toys, such as snorkeling gear, kayaks, paddleboards, etc
  • Port fees (calculated as tax)


Items NOT Included

Upgrades & Add-ons

The following are upgrades that you may add on to your cruise package:

LIBERTY CLIPPER CRUISES

EnSuite Cabin – upgrade from a standard cabin to an En-Suite cabin with a private attached bathroom (toilet/shower area). Limited availablity on the Liberty Clipper only. $400 upgrade fee per cabin.

Private Single Cabin – if you are a solo passenger who would prefer a private cabin, you may book a whole cabin at 1.5x the listed per-person price. E.g. If the per-person price for a single bunk is $600, the private single price would be 1.5 x 600 = $900.

Note: Single travelers who wish to have an EnSuite cabin must pay the full double-occupancy price of the cabin (i.e. $1200 if $600 per person) PLUS the upgrade fee of $400.

Soda&Water Drink Pass – unlimited bottled water and soft drinks for the duration of your trip (no charge for tap water). $50 per person.

Full Bar Drink Pass – unlimited bottled water, soda, and all alcoholic beverages for the duration of your trip. $150 per person.

Crew Gratuity – Our crew work very hard throughout your trip, and gratuities are always greatly appreciated. At the end of your trip you will have the opportunity to add this on to your cruise - we accept both cash and credit card on board. 15% of total cruise cost is recommended.

LIBERTY STAR CRUISES

Premium Cabin – upgrade from a standard cabin to a privately air-conditioned cabin with double bed and attached sink/vanity. $250 upgrade fee per cabin.

Private Single Cabin – if you are a solo passenger who would prefer a private cabin, you may book a whole cabin at 1.75x the listed per-person price. E.g. If the per-person price for a single bunk is $1,000, the private single price would be 1.75 x 1,000 = $1,750.

Note: Single travelers who wish to have a Premium cabin must pay the full double-occupancy price of the cabin (i.e. $1200 if $600 per person) PLUS the upgrade fee of $250.

Soda&Water Drink Pass – unlimited bottled water and soft drinks for the duration of your trip (no charge for tap water). $50 per person.

Full Bar Drink Pass – unlimited bottled water, soda, and all alcoholic beverages for the duration of your trip. $200 per person.

Other Expenses

The following are not included as part of your cruise package and must be purchased separately as needed:

  • Travel expenses (Airfare, train tickets, taxi fare, etc) to/from the vessel boarding or disembarking locations
  • Hotel stays prior to or following cruise
    • Note: for transits or schooner races, you may be able to stay on board the night prior to departure for an extra fee - this does NOT include Caribbean cruises. Please call for details.
  • Meals prior to or following cruise
  • Travel Insurance
  • Personal expenses such as souvenirs
  • Meals taken in place of those provided on board


Recommended Hotels

For guests traveling from areas that can be subject to severe winter storm delays, we recommend arriving at Nassau or St. Thomas a day early (the Saturday before your trip departure) to ensure that you do not miss the ship! While we are not able to accommodate early arrivals on board so that we have time to turn over between trips, we have scoped out the local hotels and recommend the following for your pre (or post) cruise accommodations:
