Bahamas Nature Sailing and Discovery Cruise...

Come discover the natural beauty of the Bahamas...

Book Your Cruise Online Now!

The Liberty Clipper will host a naturalist on this cruise to help our guests discover the Bahamas!  Our naturalist will work with the captain as he creates his voyage plan for this trip.  As with all our cruises, we will ultimately determine where we sail to depending upon the winds and tides, but on this cruise, our focus, in addition to having a great and relaxing time sailing a tall ship, will be to learn about the natural world of the Bahamas.  Areas of interest may include:

  • Marine ecology
  • Birds
  • Plant-life
  • Conservation efforts
We may organize a hike ashore, an expedition to the beach with fellow passengers or explore the blue holes on Andros Island...  Like-minded guests will be able to share their experiences with each other over delicious meals prepared by our chef.  Each day will include a workshop on some topic or area of interest.  The Bahamas are home to a diverse array of marine and non-marine species...  You'll have the opportunity to explore both ashore and on the water.

Anne T.Meet our guide: Anne T. hailing from the Virgin Islands...

In her own words: Hey guys! My name is Anne and I’ll be the naturalist aboard the Liberty Clipper this spring. I was born and raised in the Virgin Islands where I currently attend the University of the Virgin Islands as a senior majoring in marine biology. Besides helping professors with scientific research, I enjoy most water sports, and being outdoors in general. I am excited to join the crew and help feed any of your curiosities on some of the natural beauty of the Bahamas. See you soon!  -Anne

From the Liberty Clipper: Anne is an accomplished sailor who has crossed the Pacific on a Tall Ship where she logged almost 5,000 sea miles!  She has worked alongside her professors while a student to help study grouper habitats and sea turtles.  In addition to being an excellent sailor, she is an advanced SCUBA diver, has taught kids while working at summer camps and is an all around nice person!  Come explore the Bahamas with Anne and let her share her love of the natural world with you!
