VACATION TRIPS
 |
The sun rises over the Atlantic
waters, you are at the wheel, the power and mystique
of a traditional gaff rigged schooner extends before
you. Blazing
white canvas billow above your head, and the stiff
breeze brings the welcome smell of breakfast wafting
back from the galley.
Soon, your first watch will end, with many
more experiences to come on your way along the
Atlantic Coast.
You have miles to go aboard the grand Liberty
Clipper….

Liberty
Clipper, a newly renovated gaff-rigged schooner, is
a replica of the renowned Baltimore Clippers, made
famous over a century ago for their speedy and safe
rounding of Cape Horn on expeditions to the
California Gold Rush.
Her authentic design is exceeded only by a
state-of-the-art galley, modern accommodations for
up to 20 guests, and a newly adorned grand salon.
Nothing compares to the feel of gliding effortlessly
through the waves of endlessly stretching seas. Join us for the adventure vacation of a lifetime, sailing
all, or part of the way on Liberty Clippers’ Key
West to Boston, or Boston to Key West journey!
Memories are made, stories are told, and
friendships that will last a lifetime are born on
the water.
WHO
ARE THE TRIPS FOR?
 |
These trips are for anyone who has ever wished to
sail large ships on the open ocean.
For the fullest experience we suggest that
passengers take part in the shipboard activities,
while maintaining personal time.
Such activities include participating in the
operation of the ship, learning navigation, and |
| assuming responsibility for the vessel.
Furthermore, while at sea, each passenger can
be assigned to a watch, captained by one of our
experienced crew.
The watch captain will tailor your
responsibility to your ability and /or desire to
learn. Each
of three watches will be responsible for sailing and
navigating the ship for four out of every twelve
hours at sea. However,
there will be plenty of time for relaxing, reading,
catching the sun and watching the dolphins play. |
|
The
listed fares are per person,
and include passage, accommodations in semi-private
cabins, three meals a day, and an opportunity for
relaxation that only an ocean voyage under sail can
offer! Alcoholic beverages
(available on board) and airfare not included.
